Dr. Thurmond Lanier, DPM, MPH, FACFAS
Dr. Lanier is a board-certified podiatrist with extensive experience in both conservative and surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions. He is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love—pain-free.
Dr. Lanier obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina and his podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine graduating summa cum laude and class salutatorian. Dr. Lanier also holds a Master’s in Teaching from the University of South Carolina as well as a Master of Public Health from the City University of New York.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lanier serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a respected educator and has lectured nationally on a range of topics in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Dr. Lanier contributes to the advancement of the field by reviewing and writing questions for national board examinations in foot and ankle surgery. He is also a peer reviewer for a leading foot and ankle surgical journal and has authored numerous publications.
Dr. Lanier resides with his wife and four children. He is an avid Carolina Panthers and South Carolina Gamecocks fan and loves traveling and going to sporting events.
Dr. Mark Miceli, DPM
Dr. Mark Miceli is a dedicated podiatrist who has been active in the Gastonia community for many years. Known for his compassionate care and attention to detail, Dr. Miceli treats a full range of foot and ankle conditions from sports injuries and heel pain to diabetic foot care.
Dr. Miceli combines advanced medical expertise with a genuine passion for helping patients regain their mobility and quality of life. He believes in taking the time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and create personalized care plans that fit each patient's needs and lifestyle.
When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Miceli enjoys staying active and spending time with his family.
